Wind Region Classification:

MOMA Solar's unique LED tower light has a Pop-Up Bollard which is designed and made in Western Australia, with worldwide patents to ensure its quality of construction to suit Australia's harsh cold/hot climate and/or windy conditions. The solar street light that sits in this bollard is designed for Category A & B winds. This means that the Pop-Up Solar Street Light can always be used safely within Regions A and B in Australia, as seen in the map below (criteria may differ in other countries). For a detailed analysis refer to the Australian Standard AS/NZS1170.2:2011.

Wind Regions of Australia: Regions are marked with letters A, B, C and D. Coastal Region boundaries are smooth lines set in from a smoothed coastline by 50, 100 and 200km

IP Rating:

What is an IP rating?

IP is an acronym for Ingress Protection mark (also sometimes referred as International or Internal Protection mark). An IP rating is typically a two-number grade system that is applied to the enclosure of a mechanical or electrical item and their resistance to intrusions. The first number refers to the protection against solid objects (dust, sand, dirt, hands etc.) and the second number refers to the protection against liquids. All MOMA Solar lights have an IP rating of 65, compared to this, the standard IP rating for lights on Oil and Gas sites is IP 54.
